Superior Video Quality
The Livingstation LS47P1 uses a 3-LCD optical engine design for vivid color and detail, and great grayscale performance for remarkable shadow detail, even in dark scenes. The set is HDTV-ready with native 16:9 support (1280 x 720) and provides exceptional digital projection from both analog and digital sources. You also get the advantages of motion adaptive video deinterlacing with 3:2 pulldown for the best reproduction of film-based sources. The design of the LS47P1 also prevents burn-in and misconvergence. All of this in a set that is only 14.8" in depth, which is pretty outstanding for a 47" inch monitor.

With this dynamic set being an Epson product, maybe it shouldnt be such a surprise that there is a photo printer integrated in the LS47P1. The easy-to-use printer prints 300dpi 4" x 6" images that you pull up on the television via the units card slots. The set features card slots compatible with CompactFlash, SmartMedia, SecureDigital and Memory Stick. You can view the images on your widescreen television before printing, and even view them as a slide show. The included external CD-R/RW drive makes for easy digital archival and storage.
Versatility Meets Easy Operation
The Livingstation LS47P1 provides convenient connectivity to PCs, DVDs, camcorders, video game consoles and more through its many connections. Component video inputs support 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i formats and the DVI-D with HDCP allows for a complete digital connection. Four selectable aspect ratios (normal, zoom, full and wide) provide optimum viewing and the universal remote control can control all your entertainment equipment. Theres even easy lamp replacement with convenient front access.
Mulitfunctional Feature Set
The Livingstation LS47P1 is loaded with useful features. Picture-in-picture capability lets you view two programs simultaneously. Channel zapping presents you with seven smaller viewing windows along the side, and the favorite channel function saves up to 12 channels and cycles through each channel upon request. You can also take advantage of security features that are handy if you have children. V-Chip parental lock, channel lock, and locks for digital gaming may save some bedtime nagging. And, image freeze capability gives you the ability to print television images on demand. Imagine printing the decisive moment in the ball game to show your friends at work (especially if they were pulling for the other team).
