Using advanced surface mount technology manufacturing techniques, the Pro Series readers offer high reliability, consistent read range characteristics, and low power consumption in a single easy to install package. The reader head consists of a single chip microprocessor which decodes the signal from the card and transmits it to the access control panel. Once verified the control panel will take the appropriate action. To send another card read to the control panel, the card must be removed from the general area of the reader and be presented again.
