Narrow Design for Large-Scale Multi-Bay Jobs
The slim, space-saving exterior design of all our MRK series enclosures is enhanced by new wider rack rail which provides more room inside than any other rack within this product category. Available in 3 depths: 26.5", 31.5" & NEW! 36". Fully welded construction provides a 1000 lb. weight capacity while featuring 1/2", 3/4", 1", and 1-1/2" electrical knockouts found on removable rear plates. With either rear plate removed, cable bundles can easily be passed over or under the rear door. MRK racks can be ganged fully loaded by simply removing the preinstalled plugs found in ganging holes located in a front recess.
Featuring 14-gauge steel tops and bottoms, 16-gauge Steel sides, and 11-gauge thickness where the rail brackets are welded to the sides, each model is equipped with laser cut 1/8" thick internal braces made from structural steel. Two wide pairs of 11-gauge, 10-32 threaded rack rail come with each enclosure as standard equipment, providing more useable internal space, while an abundance of cable lacing points are found throughout the interior. A new rail bracket innovation facilitates an infinite amount of adjustable or fixed rail mounting positions. MRK enclosures feature a standard rear door outfitted with a keylock plus a fully open top which accepts a number of options.
Each model has a durable textured black powder coat finish, stylish beveled corners, and is UL listed. When used in conjunction with our MRK-Z4 mounting bracket option, every MRK series rack satisfies the Uniform Building Code seismic zone 4 requirements for protecting 1000 lbs. of essential equipment.
