  • Cost effective 2-wire design

  • Meets ADA guidelines (one flash/second minimum between 20 and 31 Volts)

  • Complies with RFI limits in FCC Part 15, Class B, for compatibility with detection and communication circuits

  • Strobes synchronization

  • Class A or Class B circuit compatible

  • Low average current draw

  • Mounting versatility and accessible connection points simplify installation and upgrades-fits.

  • The 500-series synchronized strobe devices are two-wire ADA/NFPA compliant devices listed for indoor use. Except for the D506, which is wallmount only, they are suitable for either wall or ceiling mounting. Connected directly to a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), they provide a continuous strobe. Installed in a system using the D411 2-wire Single Circuit Module ro the D412 Dual Circuit Module, they provide a synchronized code-3 horn and synchronized strobe.

These devices use either filtered DC or unfiltered Full Wave Rectified input voltage. All inputs are polarized.

Two-wire circuitry reduces the number of circuits connected to the FACP resulting in lower material and labor costs for installation. The use of existing two-wire circuits reduces costs for upgrading existing building to meet ADA requirements.

Device connection is through in-out wiring terminals that accept two wires, 12 to 18 AEG, at each screw terminal.

The D523S strobe plates allow an upgrade of existing speakers or audible alarm to strobes or synchronized strobes.
