The AlónWall in-wall speaker allows correct matching of other Alón loudspeakers in multi-channel and home theater systems. Built to the same high standard as our other models, it features a true wood (MDF) thick baffle for the drivers to work against. While others may use a thin plastic baffle, we have utilized a thick MDF baffle for superior performance. Drive units are based upon our 6½" bass/midrange and 1" silk soft dome tweeter developed for the Lil Rascal minimonitor. No-compromise construction continues with hand wired crossovers utilizing polypropylene capacitors and air-core inductors. No fuses or printed circuit boards are used to avoid signal degradation. Wiring is oxygen-free copper and all connections are soldered.
