The CNAMPX-7x200 is a high-powered digital surround sound amplifier with 7 channels at 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, or 300 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Designed to be used with a powered subwoofer, its ideal for home theaters or large rooms, to provide the authentic cinema experience for everything from action movies to classic films. Like all Crestron CNAMPX intelligent amps, it runs over the control network (Cresnet) and reports its internal tempera-ture for the protection of the entire audio system. LED flashes when communications with the Cresent system and the CNAMPX-7x200 is occurring. OVERRIDE Button & Indicator OVERRIDE button is used to activate AC power and activate all room outputs. Buttons functions only when 24VDC is applied to the NET connector. Red LED illuminates when the OVERRIDE is activated. Rear Ports NET The 4-pin network connector is used to connect the CNAMPX-7x200 to the Cresnet system. Power Connectors and Fuse Compartment The power connector provides AC operating power to the CNAMPX-7x200 via the supplied power cord. The fuse electrically protects the internal circuitry from power overloads and is located (a spare fuse is included) within the compartment above the power connector. AUDIO INPUTS 7 single-ended line level inputs utilize gold-plated RCA jacks SPEAKER OUTPUTS The 7 speaker output terminals are multi-way binding post type. Each post is gold-plated and accepts bare wire, banana plugs, or spade lugs.
