Digital Order from media-room Chaos. Whatever the storage media cluttering your space, Xperinet MIRV is the solution. A single MIRV Polaris server in your rack digitally stores up to 240 DVDs or 600 VHS tapes, and can stream four different programs to discrete viewing locations each as pristine as the original. No more groping through shelves of video cases only to find the one you want is empty. All your content is displayed in a searchable index, ready to be deployed at your command.
The leading edge RAID 5 array in every MIRV model ensures your data will be protected, even in the event of a hard drives total failure. To prolong drive life, MIRV servers sleep when not in use, and then awaken when prompted by any command from the on-screen display or your home automation controller. Best of all, Xperinets open systems philosophy ensures youll never have to pay an exorbitant price for a proprietary drive to repair or upgrade your MIRV.
Feature-packed and flexible. Each MIRV server has its own A/V outputs to allow quick setup and display on a plasma, DLP projector, or other HD monitor. In addition, MIRVs Internet working Protocol (IP) output will stream video over a Local Area Network (LAN) to the client model we call Taurus, providing additional simultaneous A/V distribution of different programs throughout the premises.
Need to add a monitor in that new guest room? Pick up another Taurus client and in minutes your entire movie library will be on-line and available there. And while the kids are watching a classic Disney film in one room, you are catching up on the latest Babylon V season release in the media room, and your guests are enjoying, well, whatever they click to and like. The possibilities are endless, with features like:
