The keypads require a RHB-200 control hub to work. The RHB-200 supplies power for backlighting the keypads as well as power for the IR receivers built into each keypad. Cloning of keypads is also handled by the RHB-200. In addition, the RHB-200 provides the interface between the keypads and the sources requiring control.
Standard Cat 5 wire, terminated with RJ-45 is utilized in a traditional “home run” to connect each zone keypad to the RHB-200. For control in larger rooms, up to two keypads per zone can be daisy-chained together. The RHB-200 then provides 3.5 mm mini jack connections for up to four zones and six sources.
