The Krell Home Theater Standard 7.1 is a full system control center offering exceptional audio and video performance, flexibility, and ease of use. The analog circuitry--the most critical stage in a surround preamp/processor--features the advanced signal path developed for Krell's flagship stereo preamplifier, the Krell Current Tunnel. All eight channels employ fully balanced Krell Current Mode topology in a zero-feedback configuration, delivering a staggering 1 MHz bandwidth. This circuitry assures the most transparent reproduction of today's most demanding movie soundtracks and high resolution audio formats. In Preamp mode, the HTS 7.1 operates as a pure analog preamplifier, bypassing all digital circuitry to ensure the cleanest, most direct signal path.
